PARISH FINANCE COMMITTEE
As it is now possible for our parish to claim back tax paid on charitable donations, our Parish Finance Committee will be contacting eligible households during the coming week. If you have contributed €250 or more last year, (2009) and are a PAYE worker, we can claim back the tax paid on the amount you donated. All you have to do is complete and return the form which you will receive. Completing the form will cost you nothing, but will greatly benefit the parish as you saw in our published financial accounts for 2009, when we acknowledged the sum of €14,714.50 received as Tax Rebate from the Revenue.
Go méadaí Dia bhúr stór.

Reflection – Bearing the fruits of love
If only the heart was right we could give so much more.
Lord, open our hearts when they are closed,
Soften them when they are hard,
Warm them when they are cold,
Brighten them when they are dark,
Fill them when they are empty,
Calm them when they are troubled,
Cleanse them when they are sullied,
Heal them when they are wounded,
And mend them when they are broken,
So that we, your disciples, may bear the fruits of love. Amen. (Flor McCarthy, SDB)
We ask you to bless us
During our Parish Mission
Open our hearts to Your grace,
That we may be more faithful
In following your way.
Bless all families in our parish
Especially those families
That are experiencing difficulties.
Bless the old, the young, the lonely,
The poor, the sick, the unemployed,
Those in sorrow, those in despair,
Those who have lost their way.
May Your love be upon us, O Lord
As we place all our hope in you. AMEN

Paidir – Roimh Obair
Bí a Íosa i m’ chroíse I gcuimhne gach uair,
Bí a Íosa i m’ chroíse le haithrí go luath,
Bí a Íosa i m’ chroíse le dúthracht go buan,
Ó a Íosa, ‘Dhé dhílis, ná scar thusa uaim.
Gan Íosa mo smaointe ní thaitníonn liom féin,
Gan Íosa ní scríobhaim ná ní bhogaim mo bhéal,
Gan Íosa mo ghníomhartha ní maith iad sa tsaol.
Ó a Íosa, ‘Dhé dhílis, bí romham is ‘mo dhéidh.
