A Player’s Machnamh
A Thiarna, ofrálaim an cluiche seo duit.
Ofrálaim m’imirt duit mar urnaí agus
déanfad mo dhícheall.
Is tábhachtaí m’iompar ar an bpáirc inniu ná fuinneamh mo ghéag sa chluiche.
Má dheinim go maith cabhraigh liom
éirí in airde a sheachaint,
Mioscais má bhuaitear orainn agus fearg,
formad agus fíoch.
Ach, a Thiarna, táim ag tnúth leis an mbua.
Tabhair cúnamh dom, más ea, mo dhícheall a dhéanamh agus gur leor sin chun an chraobh a bhreith.
Ó Austin Flynn, Port Láirge 1959 – Aistríodh ag Mons. Pádraig Ó Fiannachta.

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
It is hoped to resume RCIA meeting in early October in An Díseart 7.00pm to 8.30pm on Monday evenings and they are open to any person, not brought up in the Catholic faith but interested in learning more about it and about what it means to become a full member of the Catholic Church.
The meetings will consist of a brief presentation on the subject or topic of the evening given by a member of the RCIA team, which will be followed by time for discussion and sharing; then there will be a short period of quiet reflection and sharing on a passage of Sacred Scripture and will finish with a brief prayer service. At the end there will be time for light refreshments and a chat.
If you are interested, or if you know somebody who may be interested in joining the group please get in touch with your Parish Priest who will be very happy to answer any queries you may have and will put you in touch with a member of the RCIA team. (Fr. Jim Sheehy – RCIA team).
Fr. Joe would like to visit households in the parish, beginning with Gleann Fán in the coming week. Mindful of the size of the parish & many other pastoral ministries / duties it will take a very long time to get around and we appreciate your understanding in this regard.

Donations from these two envelopes support your priest’s income. Táimíd buíoch do gach éinne a thugann na clúdaigh litreach go dtí na teaghlaigh. We appreciate you returning these envelopes at your earliest convenience. Spare envelopes will be available at the back of the three parish churche.
Buíochas ó chroí.
